Tips On Buying Beautiful Paintings and Displaying Them
August 17, 2010
Tips on purchasing beautiful paintings and showing them off is right at your fingertips; of course a lot is to consider and the main question about this is who is the artist; because certain artist paint in totally different styles and many artist use a different state of the art oil painting that adheres specifically to light. A really good example is; have you ever gone into a Thomas Kinkade gallery and if you have you know exactly what the point is, he paints with light; there is a base in his oil paints that reflects light. If you have one of his paintings on a regular wall sized and then view the ones in his gallery with the proper lighting it makes an entirely different picture. It depends on the type and size of picture but choosing a light can be an easy and it could be a battery operated picture light placed either under the picture or above it; battery picture lights can really make a difference on the show case of the full painting.
Paintings are so unique with the different styles of artist it is a pleasure just searching for an artist that you admire specifically; there are just so many, but who says that you can’t like them all. You could like oil colors in one portrait and water colors in another, each has their own beauty; and it could be of the beach with waves crashing down or beating at a lighthouse cliff side it doesn’t really matter it could even be a rock against a tree stump. There is beauty in everything around us and if it is put into a different perspective by an artist then that is a fantastic thing.
Going to an arts and wine festival is a good example of the a lot of variety of artist there are and what they can bring out in the most simplest of things; it could be an old boot that they found by a railroad track or a rusty tin can; it is there vision that can turn it into awe.
Visiting these festivals can be so much fun, each booth exhibits happiness and an wow to your lips, it doesn’t have to be a giant canvas portrait or it can be; it is what was captured and how it was brought to life that makes it so special. Like the old boot for example it could be wrinkled up and treated with something to petrify it or turn it to a metallic figure just by someone’s special skill, something that is in all of us; the difference is that it is those that open up to what they feel inside that find it.
There is a question in all of us and that is could I ever do something like that or why didn’t I think of that and then there are those that say I once constructed that but I didn’t do anything with it and now someone else has, don’t let be you.
