The Real Estate Market In Australia .
May 2, 2010
Relieved real estate experts in Australia are optimistic about the near future growth of the real estate market, after housing values appear to have remained stable in the repercussions of the global economy crisis. Real estate values seem to have seen the worst times behind them and are forecasted to fare better in the forthcoming year. Experts across the country, are predicting capital increases of about 5 percent.
Several other real estate experts predict an even bigger increase, between 7 and 8 percent, in Brisbane alone and foresee investors, not investing in new builds but in homes that are in need of renovation. These properties will then be either sold on for a profit or rented to families or students.
On the other hand, some experts have gone against popular thoughts and opinions, and suggest that property developers should be cautious. They feel that there are currently more than enough houses being built to meet the demand, and that could even lead to an overbuild if present building trends continue.
The ideal locations to invest in, are still, of course coastal regions, and real estate near transportation and schools, and fortunately these properties are still reasonably priced to most investors, however many forecast an increase of around 5 percent on these residential properties in the coming year.
An increase in international investors has also been seen, in both commercial real estate and properties which are connected with tourism. With the ever growing amount of travelers and tourists to Australia, foreign investors know there is a massive demand for both small apartments and larger holiday homes all year round, and an excellent rental income can be earned. One of the best locations is bellbird Park property and Real Estate in Bellbird Park where both commerical and residential properties are popular with both internationl and national investors.
With such an encouraging outlook on the coming year, the Australian property market seems one of the safest to invest in, as it forms a solid foundation for an upward growth trend that hopefully many other countries will follow.
