Choosing Just the Right Beach Wedding Invitations

These days a lot of people are choosing to send out less formal wedding invitations, especially if they are tropical wedding invitations or beach theme wedding invitations. These weddings tend to be less formal, so it only seems right for the invitations to be less formal as well. This means that you really do have a lot of different options for your beach wedding invitations , depending on just how informal you want to go.
Those who want to have their beach invitations just a little less formal might choose to go with the regular square or rectangular invitations and just add some beach type design to them. This could be an illustration or a photo. The wording could remain relatively formal or be very informal. They could still be the more traditional white or off white, or they could contain all sorts of bright colors.
For those who would like to keep their invitations formal, you can give an idea of the theme in a number of ways. Your beach wedding invitations could be embossed with designs that are reminiscent of the beach, such as star fish, shells, tropical flowers, boats, umbrellas, or fish. You can also use colors that remind people of the beach, either for the ink or the paper or both. Perhaps you could use a handmade paper that had shades of tans to remind people of the beach, or you could use blues or greens. A combination of color and design might work out the best to get the theme across. It doesn’t have to be large or tacky.
Some people take things even further and make three dimensional beach wedding invitations. Ideas that are along this line include a message in the bottle, where you attach a ribbon to a strip of paper with the pertinent details and put the paper in a bottle with a bit of sand and/or shells before mailing it to your potential guests. These can be a bit more expensive to mail, and you might end up making them yourself, but they would definitely be a memorable start to your wedding.
Some people like the idea of flip flop, umbrella, or star fish shaped invitations. You can even make the wording fun and informal if you would like. Besides drawings, many people like to include photographs of the beach on their informal invites, so this is an option you can consider as well..
