Is It Better Favor Apartments Over Houses?
April 16, 2010
It is a tough question to ask whether apartments are preferable or houses. It is beyond just a matter of taste, many people favor one over the other for several reasons. Some people like the idea of having the liberty of moving or drilling around the house without anyone getting disturbed but some feel it is easier to ask for a DVD from a person in the apartment next to theirs. It is an issue of priorities but most of all it is a matter of convenience. Even though it is a genral belief that apartments are not for families, a number of apartment buildings we have seen have broken that rule. That reminds me of a friend whose experience with some Cincinnati apartment rentals during his student day was so good that he now favors living in Cincinnati apartments even with his family. And not to forget that his family is loving their apartment life better than the time spent in a house. But still it would not be reasonable to mark this choice as hereditary.
Most people make their choices on several factors that can comprise economy, experiences, habits, professions, economy as well individual personality. One can come across many types of stories regarding other peoples experience with both type of accommodation. The best solution is to assess your own requirements and then go for the optimum option. Although different kind of houses and apartment can differ from each other in many ways, there are some essential things about them that can be considered as the decisive criteria.
Speaking of the house first, honestly they seem more elegant and sophisticated. The finest thing regarding a house is that it offers more privacy and more room. While you can also get a house on rent, the advantage of owning one look quite more than renting. The the outdoor area, the roof and the floor is all yours.
Houses provide the best residence for those who are a bit on the introvert side and do not prefer much of someone else’s interventions. Unfortunately there is a cost bit greater that you have to pay for all these facilities. You have to mow the lawn regularly and someone has to get all the snow removed during the chilly season.
The upkeeping cost is higher than apartments and so are the utility expenses. And if you rent a house, the rent amount is exclusive of the utility and maintenance charges which you have to pay yourself.
