There is no better way to wake up than to hear the birds singing outside and looking through your window to see the sun shining bright. However, without an immaculately clean window to look through, you simply can’t appreciate the beauty of outside. Clean windows make all the difference.
Window cleaning is a relatively taxing job to do. The thing is though, people love to see clean windows and long to wake up in the morning without seeing streaky glass. You need to make sure you have the right window cleaning products in stock at home, so that you can get the job done right first time.
With this in mind, its good to know exactly what window cleaning products you might need. Glass windows generally need a squeegee. But its not just a squeegee that you need. Add to your shopping list a soap sprayer and sponge. To begin, spray a small amount of liquid soap onto the glass. Take the washcloth or sponge and rub this into the glass. You can then get rid of the dirt quickly and easily using a cloth. Using the window cleaning squeegee, scrape off the excess liquid soap and water on a downward motion. The rubber squeegee can leave no marks of soap and prints. Wipe off the excess remaining water on the frame surface. Run a clean cloth on the window frame to make sure that the sides of the window frame are free of dirt.
If you have wooden window frames that are quite old and tired, try not to use water as the wood will absorb it and destroy it further. In fact, it is recommended that you use a simple cloth to remove dust from wooden window frames. Don’t use a feather duster as it won’t do any good! After wiping the windows frames, a wood wax is sprayed or applied to give that glossy finish.
