I Have Decided to Buy Used Furniture as an Interior Design Tactic
November 15, 2009
I have lately moved in to a new home which is more handy for me to remain at re where I got it a really great price. The sole problem was that it was barely furnished and I had nothing to fill up the empty spaces as I came from a fully furnished ( by the owner ) residence before the move. And the internal debate begun on whether I should go and buy used furniture.
The Beauty of It
With the lethargic economy and my mounting pre- and post- moving delinquent bills, I was actually tight on the budget to purchase new furniture. I knew that used furniture would certainly come at rock bottom costs and finds would most likely end up as “steals”. The dialogue was thus won by the side “buy used furniture” based on that point.
Everyone Loves a Good Find
Searching for the perfect piece might be hard but once you set your eyes on it, you know you simply got to have it. The better part is that it’ll come with a ticket which may appear to be you are buying a chocolate bar. If that is not enough for you, an additional bonus is that you are allowed to barter. Double, or even triple, savings!
What I like most about used furniture is that the capability for the pieces to have historical value and undeniable artistic worth. I am lucky I went to buy used furniture, now I have the pleasure of owning pieces of furniture that I got with rock bottom costs and which also double as pieces of art!
